ALESSANDRA CARLONI “L’energia del sogno” (The Energy of a dream)
Location of piece: Underpass that leads to the town of Antrodoco
This piece is a visual narrative of an alternative reality, another world. Not a visual reality, but one which is translated through symbols that hark back to the surreal dimension of dreams and fairy tales: a narrative piece with multiple interpretations, where the viewer is the main character. The artist’s signature style is actually the magic of the imagination, which gives this space a new soul, while also taking a leading role in the rehabilitation of an undeveloped area. The story that is created speaks of Antrodoco and the surrounding valley and, at the same time, of the creative potential of a community that dreams of a future with itself as the main character – and is well on the way to turning those dreams into a reality.
